Bactokil Spray 500ml
Bactokil is now available in a handy 500ml spray bottle. Bactokill spray is effective against orf in sheep and ringworm in cattle.
Ringworm and Orf are two of the most contagious skin infections in livestock farming. They can also be contracted by humans through contact.
Ringworm is a fungus. The spores, of this fungus can live on a variety of surfaces around the farm, such as gates, troughs and buildings and can be active for years.
ORF in sheep is a viral infection, effecting mostly lambs in the spring time as they have little or no immunity to the disorder.
Bactokil actions by killing the fungus on the skin. Apply as spray to a run-off and all areas affected should be sprayed.
Usually two or three sprays will see disorder improve.
Spray on infected areas.
Take care not to spray near animal's eyes.
Spray onto a sponge or cloth and dab near eyes.
Due to the softness and hairlessness around the eyes, it is usually in these areas were the first signs can be detected.
It takes about 2 weeks before hair regrowth.
CAUTION
Always wear gloves and eye protection, Orf is highly contagious and can be spread to humans
