On a regular basis, mineral supplements must be fed to the animals.This may pose a few problems like preventing the supplement from being soiled or washed out by the weather.The Basis Feeder protects these expensive mineral supplements from the elements and soiling with the help of a flexible rubber cover.The animals push at the rubber cover with their heads creating an opening from which to access the minerals.When the animal moves its head, the cover falls back into place and protects the contents.With this basis feeder three separate compartments have been incorporated permitting the use of a combination of minerals to be used in the one feeder at the same time.The Basis Feeder has been designed with sloping outer walls to ensure animals are not able to tip or step on the basis feeder.The basis feeder is very easy to move around the farm.
