What's the difference between the 1800 and the 2000?
Both use the same pump system and 16L capacity. The 2000 adds a waist belt with accessory pocket, padded double shoulder straps, a telescopic lance and two extra nozzles. If you spray regularly the comfort upgrades of the 2000 are worth it for longer sessions.

Is it compatible with Roundup and other professional herbicides?
Yes. Viton seals throughout ensure chemical compatibility with professional herbicides including Roundup, as well as fungicides and insecticides.

Which nozzle should I use for herbicides?
The flat fan nozzle is generally recommended for herbicide application as it gives an even spray pattern close to the ground. The cone nozzle suits insecticides and fungicides for better coverage on foliage. The anvil nozzle is suited to low-pressure applications.

Can I use it left-handed?
Yes. The pump lever is fully reversible for left or right-handed use, adjustable in both position and height.

The Vermorel 2000 is fitted with a contoured back frame and adjustable harness designed to distribute the weight of a full 16-litre tank evenly across your shoulders and hips. Berthoud developed the harness design based on a year-long study carried out with Centre Hospitalier de Villefranche-sur-Saône in France, which measured the physical strain of carrying a knapsack sprayer during extended use. The result is a harness that reduces pressure on the spine and pelvis compared to a flat-backed design.

All purchases can be returned to us within 14 days of delivery and returned goods must be received within 14 days from the date you informed us of the return.

• No signs of damage, wear, or alteration
• All original components and accessories included
• For veterinary products: original tamper-evident seals must be unbroken
• For clothing: all original tags attached and no signs of wear

If we discover goods have been used or there has been a loss in value of the goods due to damage to the goods or the packaging, while in your care or whilst being returned to us, we will reduce the amount refunded, which may amount to the full cost of the product, to cover loss of value of goods.

I have received a damaged product from you, what should I do?

First off, if you have received a damaged electrical product from us, do not plug it in. Any electrical products that are plugged in are deemed ‘as used and accepted’ and are not accepted as returns. All damages must be reported to us via phone or email within 24hours of receipt of goods. Please ensure you check your items upon delivery.

How do I begin the returns process?

If you wish to begin the return process, please email us at sales@agridirect.co.uk and ensure the following information is included in your email. Your name, phone number, Order id, the item you wish to return, reason for return and if the product is damaged we require photos of the product.

Once you have sent us all required information a member of our team will assess your claim and will contact you as soon as possible. Please hold off on returning products until a member of our team has called you to confirm.
