The Big Cheese Live Catch Mouse Traps are an effective way way to trap mice without doing any harm to them. The trap is pre baited and ready to use. The trap works on a tilt and trap system, once a mouse enters the trap it tilts forward which triggers the door mechanism which closes securely.
Where should i set my traps? For best results traps should be set along the perimeter of a room or in nooks and crannies (behind furniture and in corners). The traps should be set with the baited side facing the wall, this will tempt the mice and encourage them to take the bait. Traps should always be spaced at least 2.5 metres apart.
How long should it take to catch mice? You should allow 48 hours before you expect your initial trap. If there are no results after this time period you could try, relocate traps to the areas most affected, try an alternative bait, ensure traps are not set in open areas and spaced apart appropriately.
How can I prevent further infestation? Simple steps can be taken to prevent reinfestation, block entry holes, store foodstuffs securely and practice good hygiene around the house.
