For best results traps should be set along the perimeter of a room or in nooks and crannies (behind furniture and in corners). The traps should be set with the baited side facing the wall, this will tempt the mice and encourage them to take the bait. Traps should always be spaced at least 2.5 metres apart.

How long should it take to catch rats and mice using the Big Cheese & Rat Mouse Bait Station?

You should allow 48 hours before you expect your initial trap. If there are no results after this time period you could try, relocate traps to the areas most affected, try an alternative bait, ensure traps are not set in open areas and spaced apart appropriately.

How can I prevent further infestation of rats/mice?

Simple steps can be taken to prevent reinfestation, block entry holes, store foodstuffs securely and practice good hygiene around the house.
