The best way to achieve this on the busy farm is to provide individual attention and accurate feed monitoring.
Not an easy task, but now JFC have designed the Calf Crib.

This Calf Crib ensures the calf, upto 4 weeks old, is protected from any dangers and is kept in this easy to clean, sturdy, reusable, warm and draught free segregated area.
The crib is manufactured using polyethylene to create the crib body which help ensures the calf is always warm. This results in more energy for growth instead of trying to keep warm.

This individual housing unit for calves is light weight and remarkably easy to handle. When not in use the cribs can be stacked to save space.

The Calf Crib has the benefits of being easily cleaned, reduces the amount of required bedding, and will aid in the prevention of possible spread of infection.

Supplied complete with 2 feed buckets and a removable slatted floor.
