Dual Acid is a hot/cold acid based cleaner that's used in the dairy parlour in the effort to remove any milkstone or water deposits. The most effective descalers contain both nitric and phosphoric acid, Dual Acid is one of these majorly effective descalers.
Instructions for Use:
Following milking, rinse the plant with water (14 L per milking unit). For standard routine milkstone prevention, use 0.5% Dual Acid at a ratio of 200ml to 40L of water. For general milkstone removal, use 1% Dual Acid at a ratio of 400ml to 40L of water. Using hot water produces the best overall outcomes, however cold water can be utilized if needed. Allow the solution to circulate in the plant for 10 minutes before draining it. Rinse the plant/bulk tank with water to remove any traces of acid (14L per milking unit).
