How Does The Fire Safety Stick Work:
It employs a potassium ion jet, which is different from other traditional fire extinguishers in that it breaks the sequence of events that starts a fire (the fire's "auto-catalyst").
The Fire Safety Stick is made of solid, stable minerals; it is not pressurized or gas-filled. Only when the charger's base is struck does the aerosol-like jet emerge. The resulting aerosol jet releases gas that is already in the atmosphere and is thrust-free. It is basically an inert salt.
How To Use:
The best method is to approach a fire from a reasonable distance and gradually draw closer to its source while utilizing the Fire Safety Stick's extended discharge period. Move the FSS slowly around the fire while approaching, always pointing it in the direction of the center. This will help put out the fire and enable the gas to function.
Reacting too quickly or getting too close to the fire are the two worst things you can do while using a gas extinguisher to put it out. Being in close proximity to a fire prevents clouds from forming, which would otherwise continue to fuel the flames.
This is especially dangerous when there is an isolated pan because getting too close will just spread the flames. Moving the extinguisher around a lot to expedite the process also keeps a cloud from forming and reduces the extinguisher's effectiveness.

Once you have sent us all required information a member of our team will assess your claim and will contact you as soon as possible. Please hold off on returning products until a member of our team has called you to confirm.
