GMB CLAW COMPLETE (4X0)

The GMB Claw Complete (4X0) is designed for use in the simultaneous pulsation milking system.
Constructed from stainless steel, the base is strong, durable, and effective.
Simultaneous (4x0) system applies pressure to all the teats at the same time. Pressure is applied to, and released from, all the teats simultaneously. Bores of 8-9mm are typical in the simultaneous system of milking machines. This GMB claw Complete 4 x 0 comes with shut off button and valves.

Pulsation systems operate on the teats in two phases, milking or open phase and the resting or closed phase.

Milking or Open Phase: during this phase the pulsation chamber is vacuumed, air pressure is removed. When this happens the pressure in the udder is higher than the vacuumed milk tube which allows milk to flow from the teat.

Resting or Closed Phase: during this phase air is increased in the pulsation chamber which causes the liner wall to collapse or close the teat. This slows and stops the milk flow.

Pulsation aids in maintaining a high rate of milk flow from the teat within each pulsation cycle and helps stimulate good milk let-down. Pulsation helps limit the level of congestion and oedema occurring in the teat tissues during machine milking which reduces the possibility of hyperkeratosis.
