JFC Ten Teat Compartment Feeder

The JFC Ten Teat Compartment Feeder is fitted with an inverted or non-return valve teat to deliver milk by gravity feed. The teats stimulate natural sucking action which allows milk to be administered to the calf at a most favourable rate. Each feeder is fitted with two solid hooks for mounting on a standard gate or fence making them extremely flexible for use around the farm. The feeder is ideal for use with the JFC Ten Teat Compartment Feeder. For sanitation purposes the feeder is designed with minimum openings making them easy to clean. When not in use they can be stored upside down which aids draining and drying. They can be nested for easy storage and transport. Available as reservoir or compartment feeders. The JFC Ten Teat Compartment Feeder provides an efficient method of supplying milk to a calf. It can be fitted with either a Starter or EazyFlow teat. Eazyflow:

• EazyFlow teat is specifically designed to replicate the natural sucking action of a calf on the udder. ( 2 – 4 weeks old) It is fitted with a non-return valve to prevent milk from flowing back into the feeder, while openings on each side encourage the calf to correctly place the teat in its mouth thereby reducing leakage. 

Peach:

• Peach Teats replicate natural feeding by squirting milk into the calf's mouth, just like actual milk. It also offers the same quantity of fluid to pass through as a cow's udder produces naturally. This product is beneficial for unwell calves that have trouble taking milk from typical teats. The transverse slots at the end of the teat are designed to decrease milk wastage when not in use.

Lamb:

• The lamb teat is made from pure rubber and has a soft texture, but it is strong enough to withstand the entire lambing season. The small openings on either side to assist the lamb to properly put the teat in its mouth, which will decrease the quantity of wastage.

Starter:

• The Calf starter teat works very well for newborn calves. It promotes natural sucking which enables milk to be supplied to the calf at the optimal rate. The inverted nipple motivates the calf to suck, boosting saliva flow and improving milk digestion.
