The Forcefield S25 is a solar fence energiser built for small to mid-sized paddocks and off-grid fencing. Delivering 0.25 stored joules of output, it powers up to 6 acres or 2km of fence line. Common Questions
Does it need any external power source or battery?
No. The S25 is fully self-contained — the 10W solar panel charges the internal 6V 12Ah battery automatically. No mains connection and no external battery required.
What area will it cover?
Up to 6 acres or 2km of fence line under good conditions. For strip grazing up to 3 acres the S16 is sufficient. For larger areas up to 12 acres, the S50 is the better choice.
Will it work during winter?
The S25's 12Ah battery is specifically noted by Forcefield as being larger than competitor models to support performance into autumn and winter when daylight hours are reduced.
Can I replace the battery myself?
Yes. The battery is housed in a rear-mounted removable compartment for straightforward access and replacement.

First off, if you have received a damaged electrical product from us, do not plug it in. Any electrical products that are plugged in are deemed ‘as used and accepted’ and are not accepted as returns. How do I begin the returns process?
If you wish to begin the return process, please email us at sales@agridirect.co.uk and ensure the following information is included in your email. Your name, phone number, Order id, the item you wish to return, reason for return and if the product is damaged we require photos of the product.
Once you have sent us all required information a member of our team will assess your claim and will contact you as soon as possible. Please hold off on returning products until a member of our team has called you to confirm.
All returns must be accompanied with a fully filled out returns form which can be downloaded here.
