Agritox-MCPA (PCS number 03505) is a cost-effective herbicide that controls a wide range of broadleaf weeds in established grasslands. Agritox-MCPA is also effective on herbicide resistant weeds and kills poisonous weeds such as ragwort. Suitable for use with a boom sprayer to cover large areas. Agritox-MCPA is not safe on clover.

Dilution Rate:  2.7 litres in 200 / 300 litres of water 

Coverage Per Bottle: 10 litres will treat 3.7 hectares.

Application method: Boom sprayer.

Clover safe: No

Rainfast: 6 Hours.

Grazing: Two weeks minimum period between spraying and return of livestock.

Cutting: Spray grass for hay or silage 3-4 weeks before cutting.

Application Information for Agritox-MCPA

For best results Agritox-MCPA should be applied to established grassland and leys not less than 1 year old.

Spraying should commence in spring and can be continued throughout the summer when growing conditions are favourable.

Follow up applications may be needed where new seedlings weeds appear.

If weeds persist an interval of 4-6 weeks is recommended for successive applications.
