Scrubkiller Ultra 1 LTR

Scurbkiller Ultra 1 LTR is a foliar acting herbicide for the control of nettles, docks, thistles, brambles, broom and gorse in established grassland and amenity grassland. Fully approved for handheld spot treatment. Scrubkiller Ultra 1 LTR is not safe on clover.

Active Ingredients: Clopyralid, Triclopyr

Dilution Rate: 60ml per 10 litres of water.

Coverage Per Bottle: 1.2 litres will treat one hectare.

Application method: Knapsack sprayer or boom sprayer.

Clover safe: No

Rainfast: 2 Hours.

Grazing: Grazing can start just 7 days after treatment.

Cutting: For optimum activity allow for 28 days between application and mowing.

Maximum Total Dose: Once a year.

Latest Timing: 7 days before grazing. Apply between March 1st and October 31st.

Application Information for Scrubkiller Ultra 1 LTR

If grass has been cut or grazed allow 2-3 weeks of regrowth before treating.

Weeds should be thoroughly wetted with the spray solution but not until there is a run-off.

For use only in established grassland >12 months

Users should be reminded to wear appropriate PPE: face-shield, gloves, coveralls and rubber boots

Spray to thoroughly wet the foliage of the plant but run-off should be avoided

If weeds grow beyond ideal stage, consider cutting the sward and spraying the re-growth

Allow 2-3 weeks after cutting before applications of Scrubkiller Ultra are made to allow sufficient re-growth

Grazing can resume 7 days after application, this may need to be longer if foliage of poisonous weeds is present

Key Timings for Best Control:

Docks: Before plant reaches 20 cm, or after start of regrowth post cutting or topping

Nettles: About 25 cm tall, prior to flowering

Thistles: Before flowering with adequate foliage present when plants are no more than 8-10 cm

Gorse: June – August pre-senescence

Brambles: June – August pre-senescence

Weeds Controlled:
